For Unilever Turkey, we have worked on a revamped and redesigned Unishop mobile application. Unishop is a private shopping app offering special prices to its selected customers. We have analyzed the current responsive web experience and highlighted the main issues to be covered in the new app. With creating the best mobile experience in mind, we have offered a new app with new branding and an easy user experience.

The project aimed to exceed customer expectations by revitalizing UniShop as a user-centric, contemporary platform that embodies Unilever's brand identity.

Navigating Challenges, Shaping Goals: The UniShop UI Redesign

Foremost, it aimed to birth a visually captivating, responsive, and user-centric interface that seamlessly integrated with Unilever's brand identity. The UI sought to deliver a fluid and intuitive shopping experience, granting users the effortless ability to browse, select, and purchase products. Embracing diverse customer preferences, reflecting Unilever's branding, and enhancing overall user satisfaction stood as pivotal objectives. The overarching aspiration was to breathe new life into UniShop's UI, propelling it into the realm of a modern, accessible platform that harmonized with its clientele.

Elevating the User Experience: Insights, Feedback, and Engagement

Throughout the UniShop UI redesign, a resolute commitment to the user experience took center stage. The team prioritized understanding and addressing user needs and preferences. By delving into user feedback, insights, and behaviors, the redesign decisions were deeply influenced. For instance, the addition of product reviews and ratings allowed users to engage with products in a more informed manner. The inclusion of chef-special recipes further enriched the user experience, fostering engagement and a sense of culinary discovery.

Streamlined User Journey: Enhancements for Engaging Shopping"

"To enhance user engagement, strategic improvements were introduced. The main bottom navigation on the Product Detail Page (PDP) was replaced by a sticky button, ensuring that users could stay focused on their shopping experience. This user-centric approach aimed to maintain an unobtrusive flow, enhancing user engagement. Furthermore, a 'favorite' button was strategically positioned for users to easily mark and revisit products of interest. The fixed cart button in the top navigation simplified the path to access the cart and proceed with the shopping journey.

Design Evolution: Enhancing Aesthetics and Modernizing the User Interface

The new design elements were carefully curated to improve aesthetics, enhancing the overall appeal of the app. The user interface transitioned to a cleaner, more contemporary look, aligning with modern design principles. The inclusion of blue as a primary color further enriched the visual experience, infusing it with vibrancy and a touch of sophistication.
